Successful go-live at Nevejan: complex project seamlessly launched
On Monday, June 1st, Nevejan successfully went live with a fully renewed digital landscape. This marks an important milestone following an intensive trajectory of preparation, testing, and collaboration.
Nevejan, based in Alveringem, is a wholesale company active in food, beverages, and related products. The company supplies a wide range of goods — from wine and coffee to food items, frozen products, and maintenance supplies — to professional customers
What makes this go-live particularly remarkable is the simultaneous activation of no fewer than four integrated systems:
- ERP
- WMS
- B2B Webshop
- Route Planning
A complex logistics operation
The implementation at Nevejan includes a highly comprehensive warehouse concept tailored to the reality of their logistics operations. The WMS supports, among others:
- Operations across three temperature zones (ambient, chilled, and frozen)
- A combination of B2B and B2C flows
- Advanced picking processes (light and heavy goods)
- Integration with a Vertical Lift Module (VLM)
- THT and FEFO management
- Handling of excise goods
Additionally, there was limited scope for a phased rollout. Within just two days, the full operational workload needed to be processed, making the go-live particularly challenging.
Thorough preparation as the key to success
A successful go-live starts well before the actual launch. In this project, strong emphasis was placed on quality and reliability:
- Extensive unit testing within the WMS
- Multiple end-to-end integration tests across all systems
- Three iterations of volume testing to simulate peak loads
- Active involvement of experienced concept owners and WMS experts
On the customer side as well, significant efforts were made in preparation. Key users thoroughly mastered the systems and ensured strong adoption among end users, from office staff to warehouse operators.
Strong collaboration
Throughout the entire project, close collaboration was maintained between the teams at Nevejan and Logflow. All key milestones, validations, and documentation were carefully managed within the project structure.
This collaboration and preparation resulted in a successful go-live on June 1st, with stable system performance and initial operations running according to plan.
