Paulig
Logistics at Olympic level!

This is what we did for this client
Our collaboration with Paulig
The high-bay warehouse is the result of a strategic network study, in which Logflow examined various alternative arrangements for the Poco Loco distribution network. The analysis showed that it was beneficial for Poco Loco to manage the distribution of finished products themselves from one centralised, automated distribution center.
The site on the opposite side of the access road to the current production facility at the Rumbeekse Gravier in Roeselare turned out to be the perfect location. A 100-meter bridge over the Pildersweg provides the physical connection between the production site and the high-bay warehouse.
With this setup, Poco Loco can eliminate the transport costs for the four external warehouses in Flanders, where the final products were stored. Only the frozen products are still stored externally. This new method of working saves approximately 25,000 truck movements annually.

What our client says
"Logflow has helped us with the logistics study and has provided important insights into how we could set up our distribution more efficiently. Thanks to their expertise, we have been able to make the right choice for the design of our new high-bay warehouse."
About Paulig
Poco Loco, established in 1995 in Roeselare, is a leading producer of Mexican snacks such as tortilla chips, wraps, taco shells, sauces, and spice mixtures. The company quickly expanded with multiple factories in Roeselare, where the first one specialised in flour tortillas and the second one produced both tortillas and tortilla chips. In 2010, Poco Loco was acquired by the Finnish Paulig Group, leading to further growth and innovation.
