Our collaboration with Dana Belgium
Logflow developed a master plan vision for the production plant of Dana in Bruges, which led to a crucial turning point. The traditional job shop environment was transformed into an efficient line setup, with an innovative high-bay design that combines multiple functions. A dedicatedly designed AS/RS system plays a central role in the new setup and serves both as a decoupling point for various production steps (WIP) and as the storage area and goods-to-person order picking system for the handling of complex and ugly parts. This revolutionary design generated the necessary space for a completely new business layout. This new business layout and the integration of WMS and MES systems for the control of production, ensure an accurate warehouse stock and flexible production on a minimal footprint.
