As a WMS Senior Business Consultant, you are the key link between the functional and technical aspects of the WMS implementation process. You play a key role in the successful deployment of advanced logistics systems, ensuring that everything is executed according to the right specifications and standards. You work closely with both technical and operational teams to guarantee a smooth and effective system implementation.

THESE WILL BE YOUR TASKS

Guide the selection process for WMS systems as part of a logistics implementation project.
Support the concept owner of a logistics project in defining the required logistics functionality, and translate this functional design into technical WMS requirements in collaboration with suppliers.
Prepare WMS demo scenarios and technical notes.
Analyse the technical requirements of the WMS/WCS environment.
Safeguard the approved concept throughout design, build, testing, and go-live phases, ensuring that the solution remains aligned with operational objectives.
Visualise processes and workflows using flowchart tools such as Visio.

ABOUT YOU

At least 5–10 years of experience as an IT professional specializing in WMS, with in-depth functional and technical knowledge of WMS software and the operation of WMS/WCS in warehouse environments.
Strong understanding of the operational aspects of logistics processes.
Knowledge of databases (SQL and other relevant technologies) and experience with IT infrastructures in complex logistics operations are considered a plus.
Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written; French is an asset.
