Senior business consultant logistics

Logflow is looking for a driven senior consultant to develop intra-logistics concepts within distribution environments.

During a master plan study, the long-term vision for a distribution center or warehouse is determined, and this for clients from all sectors.

As a senior consultant, you combine logistical operating principles, hard automation and IT management into a streamlined concept tailored to the customer. In this, you are supported by a team of consultants, analysts and experts in various sub-areas.

THESE WILL BE YOUR TASKS

You execute masterplan projects at clients:
- Mapping the current logistics processes based on goods flows
- Requesting and analysing logistics data to quantify flows and gain insights into the client's operation
- Operational cost calculation AS IS
- Designing a TO BE concept (layout with associated goods flows and principles)
- Calculating operational cost of the TO BE concept
- Preparing investment budget and determining ROI
You present the results of the (masterplan) project to the client's management team.
You conduct logistics studies at a strategic level.
You monitor the project timing and budget.
You lead a project team and follow up on its progress.

ABOUT YOU

You have already acquired experience in, or have a strong affinity with, logistical processes.
You have a higher education as an engineer or business engineer (or similar through experience).
You are willing to learn the Logflow methodologies and immerse yourself in the different logistical areas.
You can maintain an overview (helicopter view) of your various ongoing projects and manage employees in a structured manner.
You possess the necessary soft skills that allow you to communicate fluently with people at all levels of an organisation.
You have strong analytical skills and synthetic abilities.
You have a flexible, no-nonsense attitude.
You have a good knowledge of MS Office and very good knowledge of Excel.
You speak and write fluent Dutch and English. Knowledge of French is a plus.
